Tool - Egress Cost Calculations

In this week’s post, I wanted to publish this calculator I use to help forecast costs with egress fees. Luckily, the Cloud providers have made this a hoot to calculate with their ranges. In this calculator, we account for this and have made it adjustable.

I’ve included AWS & Azure US East regions going to the public internet for the default pricing. I’ve made this where you can input how much data you anticipate transferring and a year-over-year growth calculation. Feel free to go to the respective provider’s data pages for other scenarios, most of which follow a similar model.

It’s nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and lets you quickly get relative data for planning purposes.
